Placed a “No photo available” photo to display when a requested employee photo is not available on COLT.

This will prevent an error being triggered on the error log when a requested photo is not found.

New promo for brown bag series is ready to display starting at midnight on 11/4 and continuing until the start of the event.

Constrained decimal places on billing report to 2 digits.

Correction made to printable student history to prevent RC’s & LS’s from printing their own activity rather than the student’s.

Added link to upload pictures that appear on employee toolbox.

I know that some folks seem frustrated that their blog requests have not been addressed.

Each program is doing a great job of sharing ideas/concerns / new ideas. The purpose of the blog is to capture these inspirations so that COLT can keep improving.

I just wanted to share the things I keep in mind when I look at the “Attention needed” section and decide what to do next:

1) Service delivery - Is the issue in this report hindering our providing learning assistance for students ?

2) Pervasiveness - How many students are being affected ?

3) Functionality - Is the process not working as intended in the code ?

4) Student usability - Is the way the info is presented (or requested) confusing for service users ?

5) UTLC usability - Is the way the info is presented (or requested) confusing for staff users ?

6) New features -

I really don’t want to be militant, and take the tack that only blog requests will be addressed, but I have noticed that the “hallway” requests seem to have increased. That is bad, since it loses our documentation of the problem/request AND it leaves me up all night trying to document the requests as well as the changes for the day.

I LOVE the new blogging format by Katy, where she includes her “priority” rating in the subject of the post. That is very helpful as I look at the outstanding items, since I know right away how important she feels the request is to her area.

In addition to the existing password claiming activity, now the students last logon date/time is now shown in green on the student record.

Added collection of Users operating system and browser info to help with debugging.

Now logged with logon/logoff information.

In addition to the RSS subscription feed, a link to the COLT blog is now showing on LS’s home pages.

The credit detail for students has been separated by semester.

Default is current semester, but prior semesters are viewable with the navigation links at the bottom of the page.
