Celebrate Pro Bono Week

Celebrating Pro Bono logoOctober 23-29 is National Pro Bono Week. As our contribution to this celebration, the Library is highlighting free and low cost legal research resources that may help you in your pro bono work.

The Law Student Guide to Free Legal Research on the Internet provides links to federal and state primary law, as well as freely available secondary sources such as law reviews and forms. If you need a quick refresher on performing legal research, you can find that on this website, too.

The librarians here at Tarlton have put together a guide to researching Texas law on the web. From case law to ethics opinions, you can find it all on the Texas Legal Research Web Resources guide.  Need to do Texas legislative history research? We have a guide to help you with that, too!

If you still find your research lacking after consulting these two guides, consider using one of the resources from the list below:

The librarians here at Tarlton are always available to help you use these resources and more.
