You’re a girl?

I would like to point out that yes, I am female and yes, I am majoring in Computer Science. Thank you, staring man at Career Expo booth. He seemed utterly surprised that this was possible. I am living proof that it is. Hmph.

Besides being miffed that I was asked that (and I still am), I find happiness in little things. Like the cake batter-flavored yogurt I just consumed. This whole summer I was scared I would starve in college; nope! My recent weight gain proves otherwise. I did go to my first football game (against UCLA). No, we did not lose! As my friend said, we simply “under-won.” It was so much fun though! The amount of school pride and spirit is astounding. As a new student and first-timer, I learned there are rather colorful chants that are repeated frequently throughout the games! Lol. It was hilarious. The downside was that is was BOILING hot, and I now have many new tan lines. Oh well; it could be worse.

I am super nervous about my upcoming logical thought exam though! Just when I had mastered one thing, there’s a new way to do it! Aaaaaahhhhh. My professor insists this makes more sense than English. LIES! Lol. I strongly disagree. Not P, therefore Q. I do not see how this will help but I will try hard anyways! And uh-oh, I forgot about that quiz tomorrow. Another late night is now in order it looks like. I need to get this studying nonsense down.

Oh, and for those who wonder if there are typical college things like toga parties, the answer is yes. Ha ha. I was in Jester with friend when a large group of people ran outside in togas; the moment was priceless. Lol. To the party animals: make good choices. I’ll leave it at that. I would like to give a shout-out to my little brother and my friend Mia: HAPPY BIRTHDAAAAAY! :D Yay! You really do make amazing friends here in college. It just happens! I love it.

People who are going here and are unfamiliar with Texas weather/outdoor schools: The weather forecast is your friend. Visit your friend frequently, she’ll tell you what to wear, like any good friend would! She’ll also tell you what accessories are necessary of course. There isn’t much shelter in between your classes, so it helps to be prepared! Yeah, Texas is supposed to be hot, but bring jackets and sweaters because the weather likes to change frequently to keep you on your toes. I have noticed that the rain seems to come in sideways here ( I know it doesn’t, but go with it.) because my legs get soaked no matter which way I hold the umbrella.

Have a great week and hit me up with questions or comments! :D I like feedback!
