I’M STILL ALIVE!

I REALLY AM!

The last few weeks have been, in a word, CRAZY! So many tests and projects…! Lately, I’ve been running around doing just about everything from school work, to organizing events, to participating in activities, and so much more.

Not only is Thanksgiving soon upon us… but the winter break and finals are soon to come as well. Everyone is frantic; we’re trying to get all of our projects submitted, midterms settled, and start studying for finals. OH, and sleep too. As you can see, I’m up once again at a very.. odd… hour of the night. But to be quite honest, it’s not as bad as people think. Which means my sleep schedule is getting messed up… but oh well! ANYWAYS! Computer Science! The project I am currently working on for my programming class is a web crawler and search engine. It’s a daunting task, but I’m going to try my best and hope everything works out.

Thanksgiving break will be interesting for me. Unlike the majority of my classmates who will be returning home for the brief holiday, I will not leave Austin until Saturday! My parents are coming up for Thursday and Friday and I will return to Katy with them for Saturday and Sunday. They’re also going to go to their very first Texas football game: Texas vs. A&M! HOOK ‘EM HORNS! TEXAS FIGHT! We’re going to be awesome =] I also am going to my logic professor’s house on Thursday for a mini-dinner! Dr. Cline is awesome in that he offers this option to students who are not going home for Thanksgiving. Although my family will be here, my friend is going, so I told him I’d go with him so that he’s not the only person going.

Next Friday is going to be crazy for me – 2 of my friends and I are going to try out for China Care’s benefit concert that will happen in February! We’ll be singing (and dancing) to the Walking on Sunshine / Halo mashup from Glee and possibly a Carrie Underwood song (I think we’re leaning towards “Before He Cheats”). Next Friday is ALSO the CSA (Chinese Students Association) semi-formal, and the next day is my non-major recital! Ahh! How crazy! OH and did I mention my search engine is ALSO due on that Friday? =P~

Anyways! I’m sorry for such a short post; I will post more as the week progresses~

PS: The title is a song called “Where u at” by the Korean artist Taeyang! When I went to the first KUSA (Korean Undergraduate Student Association) dance workshop, that was the dance they taught!
