Mmmmm Frozen Yogurt

Hey everyone! Today is Thursday, my 103rd day here in Austin! Surprised to see me writing again? Sorry there hasn’t been a post for the last couple of weeks, if anyone actually reads. It all started with the Thanksgiving Thursday, we had a tiny break and I was determined to do nothing at all! The next week came about and I felt too busy to write a blog, and now here we are on yet another Thursday. It’s finals week, but what the heck? I write blog! I know, I’m terrible; I don’t remember what all has happened, but I’ll write about it as is come to mind.

As I was saying, I am writing in the middle of finals week. Technically I should be studying, hidden in a cave somewhere, away from all civilization and the interwebs. Instead I am taking sort of a break. I played some racquetball with Roomster, and friends Mitch and Drew, ‘twas fun. I had two exams yesterday, and I felt like I deserved it. They were exams for CS 305j and my UGS. I think I totally aced my 305j test, and I’m a bit worried about the UGS, which is a bit ironic since it’s supposed to be the easiest class I took this semester. Maybe it was because half of my notes for that class were made up of “maybe I should write something to pretend I listen”s and “I’m soooo bored”s and even pieces of art that surprise even myself. It’s okay though, I’ll definitely pass the class.

I also have two exams coming up on Saturday, I feel prepared for both of them, but my math test a little less. They are CS 301k (logic) and M 408S (I believe, integral calc). It’s okay though, I need about a C+ on the exam to make an A for the semester . You know, I’d never seen the campus soo deserted than around finals time. Apparently half of the students do not bother to come to school at all, and others burrow in some of the many study areas and libraries around campus. Walk into the PCL and you’ll learn something just by walking by all of the studying students. They sometimes make me feel guilty, because I don’t have the best study habits. About half of my studying for the last week has been trying to defeat friends at an online game. There’s also been a lot of playing pool! I never thought I would like playing billiards but it’s a lot of fun! I play with friend Eric and his gf, who I call Wongie. It’s fun! And I’ve gotten lots better. I don’t think I would be able to study at all if I didn’t have anyone sitting next to me while I (pretend to) study. That’s why Annie is always there! She lives off campus, so sometimes she requires some company. Cathy is also a good one for the studying. All times I see her I must Harry Potter quiz her, ask her an obscure random question from the series. She never fails! It’s a good studying somewhere other than my room, or I would be tempted to Halo with Roomster and or Mitch. Another thing I never thought I would like, Halo, till I tried it! Now I get why so many people like it so much, it’s a lot of fun killin virtual peoples lolz. And I’ve gotten a lot better!

College has been filled with lots of trying new things. I never knew how good Star Wars really was! I’m glad I was educated by Eric-san and amigos. I’ve yet to watch the first three episodes, exciting! Also, about a couple of days ago, I stayed up past 1:00 am! I had never done it before here at school, call me a lame-o, but it was a first! Achievement unlocked It’s not like I was out partying or anything, but achievement unlocked indeed. Oh oh, and apparently waffles are delicious! I never knew this till a couple of weeks ago. I always thought, eww waffles with syrup, until Annie made one for us. It was magical, now I think, mmmmmm waffles with syrup. Next thing, according to Annie, Cathy and Eric, is to go try good frozen yogurt. They make awful frozen yogurt here at J2 (food place here in Jester) and so now I think eeewwww frozen yogurt. According to them, real frozen yogurt is delicious and they are determined to make me think mmmmm frozen yogurt.

Anyway, I think that that’s all for this week (or last couple of weeks). I don’t want to bore you and I should really get to playing Donkey Kong. I mean studying!! I don’t know when the next time I will write will be, so maybe goodbye forever! I think our blogging contract ended this semester, but I’ll try to keep writing if no one forbids it .
