Why did you choose to attend UT Austin? I fell in love with the campus and the people, and it has an excellent academic reputation.
Are you the first in your family to go to college? My mom went to college (like 4 of them!) and earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Out of all those schools, none of them were UT!
What are you most looking forward to about college? I’m looking forward to being on my own and getting to make lifelong friends (as corny as that sounds).
What makes you nervous about college? GRADES! I am so afraid I won’t be able to handle to curriculum. Oh, and there’s that whole money thing too. Boo.
What are your favorite Web sites? I’m addicted to FaceBook, I’ll admit it! It’s an easy way to keep in touch with friends. Yahoo is very helpful, and yes, the best of all: GOOGLE. I’ve also tried Bing on for size!
What are your favorite foods? Um…. Ok, I’m an extremely picky eater, but once I find something I like, I’ll eat a lot of it. I love rice for some reason!
What music are you listening to? More of an alternative/rock kinda girl. First concert: Forever the Sickest Kids. Sigh… Good day.
What are your favorite movies? Breakfast Club, Up, Pretty in Pink, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Chicken Little, Charlie’s Angels, Paranormal Activity, The Hangover. I could go on, and on, and on……
What are your favorite academic subjects? Well, I do love science! Math… Ew. Uhhh… I dunno. English was ok.
What are your hobbies? I love to read, eat, and shop. I like making friends, and spending time with the ones I already have.
What’s one that is uniquely you? I managed to break my elbow by walking, then played tennis on it for four months before seeing a doctor!
What do you hope prospective students learn from your blog? I hope all of y’all learn what it’s like for a regular person to attend an amazing university!
