The Project 2012 will be discussed to tonight at a Dove Springs community meeting along with issues of concern in the community. The meeting gets underway at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Widen Elementary. The Project is The University of Texas’ largest student-community day of service and will be held in Dove Springs in 2012 and 2013. The community meeting is part of the Austin Interfaith Southside Strategy, which is comprised of member institutions south of the river. Imagine Austin has also been invited to follow up to a meeting held with Dove Springs residents in December.
