Project MALES, the initiative started by DDCE Faculty Fellow Dr. Victor Saenz, has announced a new partnership with with FACE (Fathers Active in Communities and Education) to host its first ever UT Austin Father/Son Encuentro College Tour on Friday, February 10th, 2012.  More than 50 parents and students from throughout South Texas will be touring our campus, participating in team-building activities with Project MALES staff, and learning about admissions and financial aid from the UT Office of Admissions. Project MALES aims to create and cultivate a support network for Latino male students at UT-Austin, within local school districts, and throughout the surrounding community.
