Projector phones by 2010? They’re already in Korea and Europe

Yet another example of following comments through to pick up techie tidbits–

The Horizons blog at the Christian Science Monitor tells us that Texas Instruments is on the verge of releasing the latest version of their Pico miniature projector DLP chip for cell phones in 2010.

A more widely informed commenter kicked up the ante by revealing that Samsung has already released a projector cell phone in Korea and Europe.

Any ideas for how to use this device in higher education? It’s a no-brainer for businesses.

Trivia for the day:

This April, the 100 year-old Christian Science Monitor will be the first national newspaper to replace its daily print version with its Web site.
