Graduate students, as we are well into the second week of the spring 2012 semester, don’t forget to bookmark key dates related to late registration, drop-periods, and payment of tuition.

Our Web site lists all the Key Dates for the rest of the semester. Here are few dates for this week and next:

JAN 17 – FEB 1
Delete drop period.
Classes added, dropped, and grade status changed online from JAN 17 – JAN 20.
Classes added, dropped, and grade status changed in the department offering the course JAN 21 – FEB 1.

JAN 20
Last day graduate students may register and pay tuition without the approval of the graduate dean.
Last day of the official add/drop period; after this date, changes in registration require the approval of the department chair and graduate dean.
Tuition must be paid by 5 p.m.

JAN 23 – FEB 1
Late registration for all students, $50 late fee in effect. Payment due 5 p.m. FEB 1

FEB 1
Twelfth class day.
Last day to drop a class for a possible refund.
Last day graduate students may, with the required approvals, add a class.
Payment for added classes due by 5 p.m.

FEB 2 – 13
Q drop period. Courses may be dropped without academic penalty. Approval of the graduate adviser and graduate dean required.
