The Graduate School coordinates annual awards programs to honor outstanding students. These awards are generously underwritten by the University Co-op. The awards are presented at the annual Graduate School/University Co-op Awards Banquet or Graduate School Convocation each spring.

The awards are, the Outstanding Dissertation Award, the Outstanding Thesis/Report Award, the Excellence in Graduate Research Award, and the Graduate Student Academic Employee Award. The online awards system to submit nominations opened February 1.
