The Outstanding Young Texas Ex Award recognizes four Texas Exes under the age of 40 who have made significant achievements in their careers and service to the University. Awards are presented in May. Past recipients include: Paul Begala(CNN), Stephanie Wilson (Astronaut), Sara Martinez Tucker (Under Secretary of the US Department of Education), Robert Rodriguez (filmmaker) and Matthew McConaughey (actor).
