April 28th, 2012 · No Comments

As this school year ends, many of us are already excited and focused on next year. HEASPA is excited to welcome the incoming 2012 CUSPA Cohort and 2012 Ph.D. Cohort! As you prepare to embark on your journey at The University of Texas, here are some things that might be helpful on your journey:

HEASPA Listserv – Please be sure to join the HEASPA listserv. This will help you keep in touch with all things Higher Ed, including GA positions, job postings, social outings, and any other info sent out by listserv members. For directions on how to sign up, check out our listserv tab page, found here.

CUSPA Mentoring – We are happy to announce the start of a new CUSPA student mentoring program for incoming M.Ed. students! This program was designed and will be coordinated by Jennifer Wang, a student in our program and a staff member in DDCE here at UT. If you are interested in more info, or if you would like to sign up as a mentee or a mentor, please contact her here.

HEASPA ’12 Facebook – Do you want a quick connection to your other cohort members? Check out the awesome facebook group for all CUSPA ’12 cohort members here.

Other than these, just be sure to keep your email address and physical address updated on the UT website to ensure timely communication with the department. If you have any other questions about classes, registration, or anything else, feel free to contact Dr. Rich Reddick via email and he will help you along in your journey to UT!

Have a great summer, and we’ll see you in the Fall!
