Welcome to iForty!

All support staff on the Forty Acres are invited to join this professional group. Our goal: to be passionate about our work and confident and knowledgeable in our ability while helping to make UT a great place to work!

Please explore our website for information on the organization, how to become a member, listings of upcoming and past iForty events, and tips and tricks to help you in doing the superb job you do as a UT administrative professional.

Thank you to everyone who made it to our June Orange Bag and participated in the Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) System demo! It was a fun and interactive learning experience.

Many of you expressed interest in registering for a full RAD class. Dates are not yet available for fall registration, but we would like to compile a list of interested iForty members that we can submit to UTPD so they can set up a class for us. Because this topic is important to the safety of all female UT staff, we encourage nonmembers to join as well. Sergeant Victoria Valenta, our Orange Bag speaker, let us know that you may also bring along a female family member at no cost.

COST: Free!
DATE/TIME: Three consecutive evenings in the fall (5:00-9:00 p.m.)
WHERE: Classes are usually held in the University Police Building (UPB)

For additional details, please visit the UTPD RAD website at http://www.utexas.edu/police/rad/.

Please RSVP by July 31, 2014 to amendez@austin.utexas.edu.
