The iForty network was founded in April 2008 to build an organization for administrative and support staff at The University of Texas at Austin – staff who demonstrate the power of the individual by performing ongoing, highquality work in support of the mission of the University.
iForty meetings are held once a month at a central location on campus and provide opportunities for training, mentoring and networking with other professionals across campus. These “Orange Bag” meetings are typically held during the lunch hour and focus on providing resources for improving members’ skills and abilities. Meetings are led by UT administrative professionals and feature occasional guest speakers from outside the UT community.
