Butler School of Music and Texas Memorial Museum present a free, family concert
The Butler School of Music is very proud to continually explore creative ways of sharing music with diverse, new community audiences. We recognize the importance of involving our students in real-world performing experiences, where they gain essential skills for engaging any audience, old or young, in any setting. With that in mind, the Butler School is partnering with the Texas Memorial Museum to present a special concert for families with children, featuring chamber music students from the Butler School, this Saturday, March 3, 11 am – 1 pm. It’s going to be fun and educational for everyone involved, and we’d love for you to join us! Here are all the details:
Music Expedition at the Texas memorial Museum
A “scavenger hunt” concert for families with young children. Enjoy the fascinating and fun exhibits of Texas Memorial Museum, encountering musical games and interactive concerts hidden throughout the museum building. Complete a musical exploration of the museum and win a prize!
This event is presented as part of Explore UT.
Explore UT is a campus-wide event described as the “Biggest Open House in Texas!” where visitors of all ages can experience a variety of programs that are engaging, inspiring, and fun.
