Queer Students Alliance

As many of you may know, the QSA published a State of Affairs Report on the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities at the University of Texas at Austin in 2006. This report outlines the experiences of LGBTQ students, faculty and staff on campus, including their interactions with university resource centers, such as University Housing, UHS, the Counseling and Mental Health Center, Rec Sports and The Gender and Sexuality Center. It also measures the campus’ climate on issues such as coming out and safety. This report is often requested and will now be available to be downloaded on our website as a resource.
