    President Powers:
    I share your vision and am willing to work towards the future where a medical school is integrated with the UT Austin campus. Having worked at Johns Hopkins, Emory and MD Anderson prior to coming here, I have taught at medical schools, threaded research collaborations across medical, public health and population research centers. Not only will a medical school fill a gap in care for adults, but my vision is to see that all children have access to and are immunized against childhood disease.
