Thankful for Much
As we prepare to go our separate ways for the Thanksgiving holiday, I want to start my own observance by thanking you.
I’m reminded daily just how blessed Kim and I are to be surrounded by such wonderful friends and supporters of The University of Texas at Austin. Our alumni are the best in the nation, period. Our faculty is the soul of the University. And if it is the soul, then our staff is the muscle, without which we could accomplish nothing. Our students — inquisitive and principled — are a constant reminder of what this place is all about.
I’m thankful for each and every one of you and for what you do for the University. Whether at home or away, have a wonderful holiday.
