Some ULS updates!
Hey everyone! …So as it turns out, our first Intellectual Happy Hour was great. We had a few drinks and covered a wide variety of topics; I’m sure that we will be doing something like that again, it was just a good time. Don’t miss our next one!
As far as our next meeting goes, however, please join us on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 5pm in room Calhoun 419. At this meeting, we will be discussing officer positions, future events, as well as additional ideas that anyone has for the Undergraduate Linguistics Society.
We also have our Dia de los Muertos Potluck planned out! It is going to be on November 1, 2011 (11/1/11 – whaaattttt?!?!?) from 5 – 7pm in room Parlin 305. Everyone make sure to circle this date because last year we had a blast and ate some FANTASTIC food!
As you can see, this is shaping up to be an exciting semester for ULS, so don’t miss out on any of it! Join us at these events, and bring your friends too! It’s going to be ridiculous!
